Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation)

Required for a Government Organization in the UAE.
Degree in engineering (Electrical or Instrumentation). Five (5) years of process plant maintenance experience. Experience in managing small projects and supervising multi-discipline team. Familiarity with applicable international standards for electrical, electronic, control systems and instrumentation equipment and related maintenance work. Experience in handling major works on electrical panels & power distribution, control systems (PLC based) and instrumentation related maintenance works. Excellent analytical and reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills required.
You will be reporting to the Maintenance & Procurement Manager
Your responsibilities will be:
- Main custodian for all electrical and instrumentation related maintenance activities. (Preventive, Corrective and Improvements)
- Manage CAPEX & OPEX approved projects/items related to equipment under electrical and instrumentation.
- Responsible for tendering of all outsourced services covering works and equipment under area of responsibility which includes among others:
- Creation of tender scope which includes scope of works, specification sheets, applicable drawings and bill of quantities.
- Formulation of technical evaluation criteria and conduct the necessary technical clarifications.
- Finalize the technical evaluation for manager approval.
- In-charge of execution of maintenance for electrical installations and ensures that it conforms to standards similar or equivalent to.
- Preparation of weekly reports
Salary AED 9,500 – 10,000 + Benefits
