Sr. Accountant/Chief Accountant – Real Estate & Property Development

Location -Mussafah, Abu Dhabi

Salary – AED 10000 + Benefits

One of our established Client,  which is started in 2012 dealing with investments for Real Estate & Property Development is looking to hire for a Sr. Accountant/Chief Accountant to join their office in Mussaffah, Abu Dhabi

Job Responsibility

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using the company’s accounting systems
· Prepare and post accounting entries across assets, liabilities, revenue, and expense categories
· Oversee the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions
· Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, petty cash and cash flow reports
· Manage accounts payable and receivable with timely invoice processing and collections
· Review ageing reports and monitor cash inflows
· Reconcile all bank accounts and credit card transactions
· Support monthly close and year‑end closing activities
· Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial analysis to support decision-making
· Monitor cash flow and identify risks or improvement opportunities
· Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filings and documentation
· Prepare audit schedules and assist with internal and external audit requirements
· Generate accurate financial and management reports on a regular basis
· Recommend updates to accounting systems, policies and internal controls

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
  · Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably from Investment/Real estate /Property Dveleopment /Financing  background
  · Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and UAE tax regulations
  · Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Sage 300, NetSuite or Oracle
  · Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
  · UAE experience is mandatory – candidates must be based in the UAE

A Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory as he may have to travel in the emirate
